Help in a pre-algebra problem?
Sorry, I'm calling on the middle of the night! Well the problem is, Irene starts driving to work at 8:15 am. She drives 18 miles and arrives at his office at 8:39 pm. Find the average speed in miles per minute. HELP? EXPLANATION? AND THANKS!
Time tour 8:39 to 8:15 or 24 minutes was 18 miles in 24 minutes, just divide – 18/24 = 0.75 miles / min
