Help with Quadratic Equations? 8th grade Pre Algebra?

How do you find the axis of symmetry and the coordinates of the vertex of a quadratic function in the form of ax^2+bx+c? Also how would you graph it? would it be using a table of values? Need help because i don’t get my notes and i was gone the whole week of the lessons. PLEASE HELP!
um explain?

You can not graph ax^2+bx+c. This is the standard equation of a Quadratic Functions. You just need to know that this will be a parabola. To find the axis of symmetry you do x= -b/2a.
