Algebra – need help solving for for an excel spreadsheet?
I’m working on a formula for an excel spreadsheet and I need help solving for a single variable in a three variable formula. This should be easy, right?
80x+3xt=2w
I need to solve for x for the formula to work in excel. Help?
to solve for x lets factor it out of the two terms on the left side of equation and we get
80x+3xt=2w
x(80 + 3t) = 2w
Now divide both sides by (80 + 3t) and we get
x = 2w/(80 + 3t)
