3^n=27 algebra question?

What does n equal? And how did u find out? I actually need more of a formula….like to enter into an excel sheet.

take the log of both sides

log3^n=log27

bring the n in front of log 3 using log rules

n log3=log27

divide each side by log 3

n=log27/log3

n=3
