Algebra Help Books
I need a good book for College Algebra?
I'm going back to school after five years, and I need a book I can study up on this summer so I'm not battling to fall. I'm very bad at math, and I fear that the algebra of the university, but have no choice. I need some type of book that works from the beginning. I found a few on Amazon, however, books do not seem to start from the very beginning. Any help?
I took an algebra course last spring after five years as well. I was afraid to take it because it had not worked on my math for a long time and was afraid because I remembered very little since high school. The books we used last spring was Intermediate Algebra by Michael Sullivan, III and Katherine R. Struve Algebra and the College octave Sullivan ed. They explain everything very well and give many examples. Once I started working on the questions, everything starts to get back to me. Hope my suggestion helps!
