Algebra 2 Question. um….graphing quadratic functions?

i’m actually kind of confused by the question. i dont get it! 0.o
and help would be so greatly appreciated!
heres the question:

First of all, the question is asking you what are 2 strategies that you can use to graph quadratic equations.

For example, we want to graph y = x^2

2 ways you can graph quadratic functions:
1. set up a table, with 3 rows–x, y, and (x,y).
plug in numbers for x= -3, -2, -1, 0, 1, 2, 3.
solve for y using the equation: y=9,4,1,0,1,4,9
graph the points on your graph paper.

2. find the vertex and intercepts of the equation then graph.
