algebra problems solve for x
algebra problem solving for x?

Can someone please help me solve for x: 12 (X-7) 3 (2x +2) = 50x-62 Many Thanks: D

allocate the first 12 (x-7) and do the same thing for the quarter and (2x +2) then u get (12x-84) + (6x +6) = 50x-62 Add like terms on the left side 6x and 12x, -84 and 6 for u 78 = 18x-50x-62, then put an x on all side (Still trying to get rid of most low x) and it would be subtracted from 18 to 18x = 32x -78 to 62 -62 February complement the two sides of a gate 16 divided by 32 = 32x 16/32 = 32x/32 then simplify 1 / 2 = x
