# Algebra question best cuts on a sheet of paper?
I want to reduce the maximum number of cards and a map Mail "I can make a sheet of paper. The leaf is 28.5×22 cm. The dimensions of the card is 11×7.5. (11 = 5.5 5.5: A map on page 2). Postcard size is 5.5×7.5. What is the number optimum cards and postcards that I can cut the blade and how I can cut the leaf (eg vertically or horizontally and 2 or 3 in the bottom?) Do I make sense?
Reduce by half the length of 11 inches wide pieces, each piece gives three cards of 11 x 7.5 in, a total of 6. You can not get more than that.
