Basic Pre Algebra Formulas
Algebra Placement Test?
Hi. I am in 6th grade. Tomorrow I am going to be taking the algebra placement testing. Last week, we took the pre-ap testing to learn 8th grade math next year and my teacher told me that since I did so well, I should take the Alegbra testing. I really would like to get in but I’m afraid I won’t know some of the material, so my question is, what formulas and other basic stuff should I know?
You probably don’t need to know too much upon entering. However, I would recommend learning how to solve for a single variable, if you don’t already know how to. It may be taught to you in the class, though.
Don’t worry about it, though. The teachers know that being gone for the summer would have made some formulas in your mind fuzzy, so the first section you do should be review of some sort.
