if you dont pay a book fee do you get held back??10 point to best answer?

i just finshed 6th grad june 23 and got a book fee june 15 or something, the Pre Algebra book cost 60 dollars and like july 15 sent sent me a letter saying they wont give me my report card if i dont pay the fee should if pay it or not?am i gonna goto 6 th grade again if i dont payy????plss answer

i think you go to the next grade but when you a senior i think you don’t get to walk or get your diploma i THINKK
