8th Grade Pre-algebra Book
Can I take only one subject in Summer School?
Ok so Im really having a hard time in Algebra 1 im in the 8th grade i got a 30 in two assignments and a 67 in a test( i feel so stupid for an honors student). My teacher asked me if i wanted to switch from Algebra 1 to the 3rd course mathematics (i think its pre-algebra), but i refused because i asked her if that’s going to make me switch Physical Science also, and my grade right now in Physical Science is 100, and she said “yes” so i refused to switch. Were moving to another chapter of the book; i looked over it and i thought this might be easier, but if i still fail for the 2nd semester i planned on going to summer school for Algebra 1,and what i want to know is if would i be able to take that subject only for summer school and not go over to my other subjects again? thanks lots =)
In summer school you can take two classes tops: one per “semester”. They definitely do not make you retake classes if you passed. I’m sure you could get info at your school anyways.
