Iowa Pre-algebra Test
Algebra or Pre-Algebra?
I’m in 6th grade and I’m going into 7th. I get all a’s in advanced math & i got an 8 for the staynine on the IOWA test. Should i go into Algebra. I could handle it, but its A LOT of work. Should i do it??
It sounds like you’re a very hard working and intelligent person. Definitely go into Algebra because the worst thing that can happen is that you’ll end up taking it again in 8th grade which is still ahead of when most people take Algebra. Trust me, all Algebra does is generalize Arithmetic, or in other words uses variables (letters) instead of numbers. Once you make that connection it’s a piece of cake!
