Pre Algebra Test Problems

When "whole" are used in pre-algebra, can anyone explain how slowly?
I have 50 years of age and need help with my Pre-algebra Homework. We have a test tomorrow, even tho this is only the fourth day of class. I like to be able to understand how "whole" work and how they fit into the algebraic features. Here's an example I have to help with: -2 -! 4! – 5 (4) + 7 = the first 4 are in parentheses whole, and do not know how to determine whether the refusal is maintained negative or if you change to a positive number before continuing. Therefore, I need help figuring out the problem. Also I have a short term memory loss that does not help me with this kind either. Someone out there may have the same problems, and if so, I need help! Even if someone has no problem at all, you still need help, PLEASE.!
I'm not sure what you mean by entire media. Is it supposed that the value all? If so, the 4 stays April 1 because the absolute value is always positive. It's all right with the minus sign in front. The first thing you should make your problem is multiplication. That will give -2 to 4 – 20 + 7 Now take all the numbers with negative signs and add them. Will -2 to 4 – 20 = -26 -26 + 7 = -19. The rule here is that if two numbers have different signs, subtract the numbers and use the sign of the larger number. Good luck on your test.
