Algebra Math Help

Should I have taken college algebra? ?

What topics are generally included in a college algebra course? My adviser put me in statistics instead of college algebra, and I’m worried I’ll be behind in my pre-calc sequence and will be lacking some knowledge I need for advanced functions and trig. And where is a good place for tutorials and worksheets/practice problems online? Thanks for your help!
